Question about mo/me
i created a new char, mo/me and im lvl 8 now
my questions is, when will this build start to do good dmg cause right now i dont get enough dmg out of: banish,bane signet,conjure phantasm and something else: what are the skills that makes this build so popular? |

well, the main idea of a monk is to support your party with healing and protecting, and not dealing damage. of course, if you wish to be a smiter (or go with mesmer stuff for unknown reasons), thats of course your own decision.
tho, if you are talking about farming with Mo/Me, you should get all the skills needed in the shiverpeaks (southern, not northern), depending on where you'd like to farm. *EDIT* ive never really heard of a Mo/Me build that includes smiting for PVE that isn't used for farming, so i couldn't really help there :P *rarely smites >_<* |

You can definitely do damage with a monk/mesmer. You can farm, heal, prot, and smite. Monk/Mesmer is a very versatile build you can deal with hexes, conditions, melee attacks, energy management, energy denial, etc. Look in the builds forum for specifics. Monk/mesmer and Monk/Necro are two of my favorite combos.
